teams.About the Role:We are hiring a dynamic and experienced Head
of Insights and Analytics to lead our Revenue Business Analytics
and Brand Insights teams. This critical leadership role will be
responsible for connecting the dots between performance marketing
data and brand analytics to drive strategic decision-making across
the organization. Brand analytics is the systematic collection and
analysis of data that measures a brand's performance, perception,
and impact across various channels. This includes tracking brand
awareness, sentiment, market performance, and digital presence to
make data-driven decisions about marketing strategy, product
development, and customer experience. Through both digital (social
media, website analytics, search data) and traditional sources
(market research, surveys), brand analytics provides organizations
with actionable insights to improve their market position and
ROI.The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of data
analysis, data infrastructure, marketing measurement, audience
development, and brand KPIs, along with proven leadership skills
and the ability to inspire and mentor a high-performing team. This
role will report directly into the VP, Finance & Analytics.This
position is located in NYC and requires a minimum of 3 days/week in
office.You will:
- Team Leadership & Management: Lead, mentor, and develop the
Revenue Business Analytics and Brand Insights teams, fostering a
collaborative and high-performing environment. Set team goals,
provide regular feedback, and conduct performance reviews.
- Strategic Alignment: Develop and execute a comprehensive data
and insights strategy that aligns with overall business objectives,
bridging the gap between performance marketing and brand
building.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
Partner closely with Marketing, Sales, Product, and other
departments to understand their data needs and provide actionable
insights.
- Data Integration & Synthesis: Oversee the integration of data
from various sources, including marketing platforms, CRM systems,
and brand tracking studies, to create a holistic view of customer
behavior and market trends. Leverage Tableau to provide actionable
insights to marketers. Guide the team in creating user-friendly but
powerful dashboards.
- Data Infrastructure Collaboration: Collaborate with data
engineering teams to ensure data quality, accessibility, and
scalability of data infrastructure. Understand basic data
structures and data engineering principles, but not required to be
a data engineer.
- Performance Marketing Analysis Oversight: Provide strategic
guidance and oversight to the Revenue Business Analytics team in
analyzing performance marketing data, identifying key drivers of
revenue growth, and optimizing marketing campaigns. Be a sparring
partner and coach to the team, helping them provide critical
insights that drive marketing decisions
- Brand Insights Leadership: Guide the Brand Insights team in
conducting research, analyzing brand perception, and identifying
opportunities to strengthen brand equity.
- Brand Measurement and Testing: Develop and implement
methodologies for measuring brand impact and conducting brand
marketing tests, leveraging data to demonstrate the effectiveness
of brand-building initiatives.
- Data Storytelling & Communication: Effectively communicate
complex data insights to diverse audiences, including executive
leadership, through compelling presentations, reports, and
visualizations.
- Brand Health Tracking: Build on and improve existing brand
health tracking program to monitor key brand metrics such as
awareness, consideration, preference, and brand image over time.
This includes overseeing the work with our selected partners and
the analysis done by the team on a quarterly basis
- Support marketing and brand teams with ad hoc research to guide
creative and channel decisions.
- Budget and Vendor Management: Manage the budget for the Data &
Insights department, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
Also manage relationships with external research vendors and data
providers.You have:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g.,
Business, Marketing, Statistics, Economics, Market Research).
- 8+ years of experience in data analysis, market research, or
business intelligence, with a proven track record of leading teams
and driving impactful insights.
- Significant experience in marketing analytics, with a deep
understanding of performance marketing metrics and brand building
strategies.
- Proven ability to connect performance marketing data with brand
insights to inform strategic decision-making.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to
motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal
skills.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) and
survey & research/XM platforms such as Qualtrics. Proficiency in R
a plus.
- Familiarity with marketing analytics platforms and CRM
systems
- Basic understanding of data structures, databases, and data
engineering principles.
- Experience managing research vendors and budgets.
- Experience in SaaS is a plus, as is enthusiasm for

- In New York City, the reasonable annualized full-time salary
for this role is $145,000 - $185,000 placement within this range
will vary based on several factors including, but not limited to
experience, education, licensure/certifications, training and skill
