of Senior Associate, Sustainability to join our Sustainability
team. This role is located in New York City - HYBRID. In this role,
you'll make an impact in the following ways:
- Engage in preparing and reviewing ESG regulatory reports and
disclosures, such as the EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting
Directive (CSRD) Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR),
the EU Taxonomy Regulation, the UK Climate Financial Risk Forum
(CFRF), and the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures
(TCFD).
- Research and benchmark best practices and emerging trends in
ESG disclosure and reporting, and assess and implement
recommendations for enhancing our firm's approach and
performance.
- Collaborate with various teams and functions across the firm to
collect, validate, and analyze ESG data and metrics, and ensure
data quality and accuracy.
- Support the development and implementation of ESG policies,
procedures, and frameworks, and provide guidance and training to
relevant stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development and execution of ESG strategy and
initiatives, and support the integration of Sustainability factors
into our business activities and decision-making processes. To be
successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
- 3-5 years overall work experience; BA in sustainability
management, public policy, accounting, or related.
- Experience in compliance, internal audit, auditing, or
performance auditing with a high degree of attention to detail
and
- Experience in reporting for key sustainability regulations and
voluntary industry frameworks with a passion for staying abreast of
rapidly evolving landscape; experience working in or with large
financial institution on these issues a strong plus.
- Exceptional analytical and writing skills; ability to message
and present to different audiences and in different formats.
- Ability to balance and drive multiple projects concurrently;
comfort prioritizing and executing in a fast moving and dynamic
environment.
- Strong communication skills and confidence to escalate
challenges and identify solutions.
- Strong teamwork skills; collaborative, commercial, execution
oriented, and committed to excellence and continuous
improvement.

compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this
position is expected to be between $68,000 and $110,000 per year at
the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will
be determined on an individualized basis, including as to
experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total
compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also
include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and
long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit
programs. This position is at-will and the Company reserves the
right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary
payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related
to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company
or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
