Position Title: Entry Level AccountantLocation: New York, New York, United StatesDescription: We are currently seeking an Entry-Level Accountant to join our NYC office. The position is responsible for accounts payable functions as well as general accounting functions. With over 138 years of experience, H&H is a trusted full-service infrastructure engineering firm. Responsibilities--- Maintain petty cash accounts and log all outgoing disbursements --- Perform day-to-day accounting tasks, including preparation of and posting journal entries --- Oversee accounts payable transactions --- Support the month-end close process, including the preparation of account reconciliations --- Collaborate with team members for interim and year-end audit --- Perform other duties and special projects as needed --- Support compliance with financial, GAAP standards, and company policiesRequirements: --- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field --- Zero to six years of relevant experience --- Attention to detail, strong problem-solving and communication skills --- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel --- Self-motivated, dependable with deadlines; able to multi-task --- Knowledge of Deltek Vantagepoint (preferred)Benefits: Salary Range- $60,000-$70,000 annually.
