ABOUT THE ROLEPeloton's Content Department is a dynamic and
collaborative team dedicated to delivering engaging subscription
content to our members every day. As a Senior Media Operations
Technician, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing
post-production operations for both on-site and off-site content.
Acting as a lead in our post-production environment and media asset
management, you will serve as a vital link between pre-production,
production, and post-production, ensuring a seamless flow of
content management and delivery.YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON
- Identify and address any issues or changes in On-Demand Content
and Banked on Content for members, ensuring prompt correction of
any identified issues or necessary changes.
- Coordinate and actively contribute to all facets of
post-production workflows and processes.
- Collaborate with Production, other Post-production teams, and
Vendors to ensure the timely delivery of assets.
- Ensure assets adhere to technical specifications, comply with
file naming conventions, and pass QC.
- Catalog products/classes in a content management database
accessible to both at-home subscribers and employees.
- Assign and monitor key tasks related to media movement, edit
support, and asset delivery.
- Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to bring
post-production projects to completion.
- Make decisions under pressure amidst competing priorities and
provide clear direction.
- Evaluate team members through training programs and individual
feedback in collaboration with management.
- Edit videos, audio, and graphics, performing color correction
to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
- Review content from rough cut through final delivery, including
the publication of videos on our platform.
- Manage media across various platforms and uphold naming
conventions across media folder structures.
- Handle ad hoc requests for relevant stakeholders and
departments.
- Provide insights for workflow improvements to enhance
efficiency.
- Demonstrate excellent organizational skills and attention to
detail.YOU BRING TO PELOTON
- Oversee and execute all assigned post-production projects from
shoot to publish.
- Assign, schedule, track, and project manage video and audio
edits from start to distribution.
- Manage multiple projects across departments and key
stakeholders.
- Coordinate internal teams and external vendors to ensure
appropriate resourcing.
- Ensure projects are completed efficiently and on schedule,
managing priorities as needed.
- Review content throughout the post-process, offering
quality-control feedback.
- Assist in onboarding team members.
- Handle incoming requests from EPs, Producers, and Editors.
- Communicate project updates to the producing, programming team,
and relevant stakeholders.
- Organize the delivery of content deliverables.
- Supervise the final finishing of all content, providing QC
notes during the finishing stage.
- Manage asset files and archive them properly.
- Edit video, audio, graphics, and images.
- Perform color correction on both long and short-form videos for
both external and internal platforms.
- Assist editors in their tasks.
- Proven experience in coordinating post-production workflows and
media asset management.
- Proficiency in video and audio editing, graphics, and color
correction.
- Proficiency in Pro Tools, Davinci Resolve or Adobe Creative
Cloud, including Premiere, Photoshop, Audition, After Effects, and
Lightroom.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality control.
- Knowledge of content management databases and naming
conventions.
- Experience with archiving and managing media across various
platforms.
- Must be available to work a variation of early mornings,
evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
- Proficiency in German or Spanish is a plus.LI#EPThe base salary
range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary
range for this position based at our New York City headquarters.
The actual base salary offered for this position will depend on
numerous factors including individual performance, business
objectives, and if the location for the job changes. Our base
