Job Description:

OverviewProvide didactic instruction to students in the Sonography Program at Machon L'Parnasa.Responsibilities

• Teach courses within the Sonography curriculum that coordinates with clinical experience.
• Develop course objectives, lesson plans, curriculum, and syllabus.
• Design, prepare, and develop teaching material that conforms to the AIUM, SDMS, and JRCDMS guidelines regarding sonography education.
• Instruct and evaluate students and report progress, utilizing Touro instructional tools (i.e., Canvas, etc.).
• Cooperate and participate in periodic review and revision of course material and program materials.
• Maintain appropriate expertise and competencies through continuing professional development.QualificationsEducation/ Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent related experience. Master's Degree preferred.
  • Teaching experience
    • For sonography specific courses, RDMS certification required.Knowledge /Skills/ Abilities
      • Familiarity with online learning platforms including Banner, Canvas, Blackboard, and Adobe Connect.
      • A high degree of interpersonal competency: professionalism, diplomacy, judgment, and discretion.
      • Demonstrated ability to develop positive and cooperative relationships with students, faculty, and colleagues.
      • Demonstrated proficiency in communication (written and verbal).Salary InformationMaximum Salary: USD $4,200.00/SemMinimum Salary: USD $3,000.00/Sem
