Seton is working to take these remarkable achievements to scale by managing a network of schools and programs that ensure that thousands of underserved children whose Catholic schools close-and other local children-have access to an academically excellent, character-building, and, for those who choose it, faith-nurturing education.About the job of Elementary School SPED Compliance and Billing AnalystThis role is responsible for ensuring the highest levels of compliance and programmatic integrity in services for students with disabilities across Brilla's K-8 schools. The Special Education Compliance and Billing Analyst ensures the accurate and timely submission of special education billing and compliance reports while developing data-driven systems to support student services. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and collaboration with internal teams and external agencies to ensure compliance with the NYC Department of Education (NYC DOE) and New York State (NYS) reporting requirements.Main Responsibilities

  • Submit bi-monthly special education billing claims to the NYC DOE by verifying the accurate implementation of IEP services at elementary campuses.
  • Monitor and support the IEP case management process for initials, annuals, and re-evaluations at K-4 schools, ensuring meetings are held and documented on time.
  • Prepare and submit monthly ATS verification reports in collaboration with the Data Team, ensuring elementary schools are fully compliant with NYC DOE and NYSED reporting requirements.
  • Develop and maintain systems to track service mandates, provider assignments, and student encounter attendance for all students with disabilities in elementary grades.
  • Collaborate with the Committee on Special Education to support the recruitment, onboarding, and credential tracking of related service providers (e.g., Speech, OT, PT) serving elementary students.
  • Create data dashboards and tools to track academic progress of students with disabilities at the elementary level, using assessment data such as NWEA, Amplify, and interim results.
  • Provide targeted compliance training and systems support to K-4 Student Services teams, updating them on regulatory changes and best practices for documentation and service delivery.

    • Demonstrated success in improving outcomes for students with disabilities in urban education.
    • Strong data analysis skills, with experience using student performance data to drive programmatic improvements.
