will support the Electronic Combat Solutions (ECS) and Command,
Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance &
Reconnaissance System (C4ISR) business areas. ECS provides
next-generation electronic warfare capabilities for both defense
and attack applications while C4ISR provides actionable
intelligence for our warfighters and decision makers through
innovative technical solutions from the seas, to the skies, to the
stars. These positions are primarily full time onsite with some
flexibility for hybrid options available. Are you an experienced
Mechanical Engineer with 20+ years of experience? Do you want to
design and test hardware that really matters and be a part of a

Products and Solutions. We need your talent, motivation and vision
to join our growing teams. These roles will be supporting
engineering development, integration, test and transition to
production efforts on complex electronic modules. Candidates will
provide electrical engineering support to a dynamic engineering
development team, leading first unit test, design verification
test, integration and transition to production tasks on complex
digital, power supply & backplane circuit cards and modules. The
successful candidates must possess strong technical aptitude,
communication skills and ability to work cross functionally within
the hardware organization and with other engineering
disciplines/functions. Must be able to exercise discretion and
independent judgment in technical areas. Required Education,
Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and
15+ years of relevant experience in electronics packaging.
- Expertise in solid modeling (CREO preferred)
- Experience with drafting principles and geometric dimensioning
& tolerancing in accordance with ASME Y14.5-2009.
- Experience/Expertise in thermal/structural Finite Element
Analysis (FEA)
- Ability to mentor less experienced engineers
- Clear communication - both oral and written - and a positive
attitude.
- Ability to work effectively on a team either on-site or
remotely.
- Expert understanding in the application of heat transfer
principles, strength of materials, materials selection and the
ability to apply those principles to unique mechanical design
challenges.
- The ability to perform thermal and/or structural analysis using
industry simulation tools (ANSYS Workbench preferred) is a plus.
- The ability to lead small design teams and to effectively
communicate within the team is required.
- The candidate shall possess good written and verbal
communication skills.
- Candidate shall also be able to work within a broader program
team and be able to communicate across functional boundaries in
order to solve problems and achieve common goals.
- Eligibility to obtain a DoD Security Clearance at the "Secret"
level. Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Master's Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and 20+
years of relevant experience.
- Active Secret DoD Security Clearance within the last two years.
- Experience supporting bids and proposals
- Experience in architecture development of new products
- Experience in mentorship of less experienced engineers
- The use of commercially available schedule tools and
application of those tools within EVMS Pay InformationFull-Time
Salary Range: $142205 - $241749Please note: This range is based on
our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are
determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to:
business considerations, local market conditions, and internal
equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills,
