If selected for this internship, you will be working closely with a team of acquisitions editors in Science & Engineering to manage a prestigious book program. Specific tasks may include: assisting in the peer review process for new books, identification of new potential authors and publishing opportunities (including use of data-driven tools to identify growth areas where there is a gap in the book literature), helping authors prepare manuscripts for production, ensuring information in databases is accurate and up-to-date, writing marketing texts, attending external meetings, and related duties.What's in it for you?

Publishing over 1500 books a year, the Sciences Books team disseminate both fundamental and applied science via research monographs, textbooks for the higher education market, and books for professionals in Physics, Astronomy, Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, Mathematics & Statistics, and interdisciplinary areas.About you:
  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate programme, or be a recent graduate, preferably in a STEM subject
  • Available to start in June 2025 for an internship of up to six months
  • Strong interest in research publishing
