Job Description:
We are working on behalf of a leader in photonics, using
compound semiconductor technology for improving high-speed
communications for data center markets.Their group in Ithaca, NY is
looking for a Senior Semiconductor Laser Designer who will design,
test, and analyze CW lasers, and work with process and product
engineering teams to get the product manufactured.We need an MSEE
or PhD in Electrical Engineering, with 5 years of semiconductor
laser design experience. We require good skills in device design
and device physics. We prefer experience in compound semiconductor
(InP, GaAs) devices, and experience with design tools like
Lumerical.
