We are a nationally respected construction materials manufacturer seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to support and optimize plant electrical systems. This role requires sharp troubleshooting skills, a deep understanding of high-voltage systems, and a proactive approach to minimizing downtime.



What You'll Do

- Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems (motors, drives, transformers, switchgear, power distribution)

- Implement and refine PM/PdM programs to ensure equipment reliability

- Support PLC/DCS systems (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Honeywell)

- Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to ensure continuous uptime

- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and drive safety compliance (OSHA, NEC, NFPA 70E)



What We're Looking For

- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (or similar - required)

- 2+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience

- Proficiency with high and low voltage systems, power distribution, and drives

- Strong working knowledge of PLCs, DCS, schematics, and CMMS

- Ability to work on-site in Clifton, NJ

- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no OPT/CPT/H-1B)



Nice to Have

- Medium- and high-voltage system experience

- Certifications: PE, CMRP, or ISA CCST

- Union environment familiarity
