Job Description:
A growing organization is seeking a Training & Development
Manager to lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of
comprehensive training programs, ensuring they align with
organizational goals and regulatory standards. This role involves
managing a training team, fostering a culture of continuous
learning, and addressing diverse employee development
needs.Responsibilities Include:
- Collaborating with supervisors to assess and identify training
requirements.
- Developing high-quality training materials and resources.
- Coordinating training schedules with department heads to meet
operational needs.
- Maintaining a user-friendly knowledge base for staff
reference.
- Mentoring the training team to ensure effective program
delivery and consistent content quality.
- Ensuring all training initiatives comply with regulatory
standards.
- Traveling between Spring Valley, NY, and Brooklyn, NY, as
needed to oversee training operations.Ideal Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in training and development,
preferably in the home care industry.
- Proven supervisory or managerial experience with the ability to
lead and inspire a team.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and diverse
training methodologies.
- Proficiency in training software and tools, including Learning
Management Systems (LMS).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational
skills.
- Flexibility to travel and a commitment to fostering a culture
of learning and growth.Additional Information:
- Part-time may be an option for qualified candidates.
- This role reports directly to the Executive Director.Salary:
