innovating with its Symbiosys range, and making early-stage
investments in start-up companies.Orphan diseases: For patients
with severe orphan pathologies around the world, such as DIACOMIT,
which is indicated for the treatment of Dravet syndrome, a rare and
very severe form of epilepsy in children.Women's health: With the
Saforelle brand for women of all ages.With more than 1,600
employees, Biocodex generated net revenues of above ---500 million
in 2022, including 42% in France and 58% internationally. The group
is present in 115 countries through wholly owned subsidiaries in 16
countries and a network of distributors worldwide.In order to
accompany the growth of Biocodex, we are looking for a: National
Director, Sales.The US subsidiary's headquarters is in Bedminster
but the position can be remote if not local to NJ.YOUR
RESPONSIBILITIESThe National Director of Sales is a leadership
position responsible for overseeing and driving the sales strategy
and execution for a pharmaceutical company. This role involves
leading the sales team, developing and implementing sales plans,
and ensuring the achievement of sales targets. The National
Director of Sales will work closely with other departments,
including marketing, product development, finance, and compliance.
The National Director of Sales will establish work standards that
are aligned with Biocodex's culture, vision, and values, and will
align sales efforts with overall business objectives while adhering
to all compliance and promotional guidelines.
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive
sales strategies to achieve company objectives and sales targets,
identify & implement gaps in field commercial & work closely with
sales training to augment training & elevate performance, analyze
market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to
identify opportunities for growth, and set sales goals and
objectives in alignment with the company's strategic plan.
- Team Leadership and Management: Recruit, train, and manage a
high-performing sales team, provide leadership, mentorship, &
coaching to field representatives, and conduct regular performance
evaluations and implement development plans for team members.
- Sales Operations: Oversee the development and execution of
sales plans and initiatives, monitor sales activities, pipeline
management, and forecasting to ensure targets are met, and
implement and manage sales processes and tools to improve
efficiency and effectiveness.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong
relationships with key customers, healthcare providers, and
stakeholders, ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and
address any issues or concerns promptly, and develop strategies to
enhance customer engagement and loyalty.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with marketing to
align sales and promotional activities, collaborate with product
development to provide market feedback and support new product
launches, and communicate sales performance, insights, and
recommendations to senior management.
- Budget and Financial Management: Develop and manage the sales
budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources, monitor and
report on sales performance against budget and forecast, and
implement cost-effective strategies to maximize profitability.
- Compliance and Ethics: Ensure sales activities comply with
industry regulations, company policies, and ethical standards, and
promote a culture of integrity and ethical behavior within the
sales team.QUALIFICATIONSEducational background: BS/BA degree
required, ideally in business/marketing/healthcare/life sciences or
MBA or other advanced degree preferred.Professional experience:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, with at
least 5 years in a sales leadership role.Technical masteries: CRM
Software and other relevant tools.OTHER INFORMATIONType of
