Seeking a director of real estate acquisitions to join the team.

Overview:
We are a boutique firm seeking a highly organized, entrepreneurial, and results-driven professional to lead the sourcing and execution of NYC real estate acquisitions. This role involves identifying strong investment opportunities and managing the entire acquisition process-from initial evaluation through closing. You'll serve as the operational lead on deals and collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders. Performance-based bonuses are available based on successful deal execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and evaluate potential commercial & residential real estate investment opportunities
• Conduct market and financial analysis to assess deal viability
• Manage due diligence, legal, and financing processes through closing
• Coordinate internal and external teams to ensure deals are completed on schedule
• Maintain detailed tracking of all deals in progress and key milestones
• Serve as the central point of contact for all operational aspects of each acquisition
• Ensure a seamless transition to the development, construction, or asset management teamRequirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in real estate acquisitions, investment sales, private equity, asset management, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of NYC zoning, development & construction is a plus
  • Proven ability to source, evaluate, and execute real estate transactions
  • Strong project management skills and experience overseeing deals through diligence, legal, and closing processes
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, with experience working alongside brokers, lenders, attorneys, and internal teams
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deals simultaneously
  • Proficient in financial modeling, market research, and investment underwriting (Excel, Argus, or similar tools)
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree a plus
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where flexibility and independence are essentialCompensation:
