Gresham Hunt are delighted to be exclusively supporting an elite, vertically integrated, owner-operator Real Estate Private Equity firm, specializing within multifamily as they search for a Director to join their Asset Management team.This position is to be based in NYC.Responsibilities

• Oversee the management of a portfolio of distressed real estate assets
• Develop and implement comprehensive asset management plans to optimize performance and maximize value
• Analyze financial performance, forecasts and budgets, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
• Lead the turnaround of distressed assets, including property renovations, leasing, and tenant management
• Monitor expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and optimize operational efficiency
• Assess and mitigate risks associated with the asset portfolio, including credit risk, market risk, and operational risk
• Perform effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative working environmentRequirements
  • 7-12 years of experience in Real Estate Multifamily Asset Management, open to an equity or credit asset management background
  • Bachelors or Master's Degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or equivalent from an accredited institution
  • Proficiency in using ARGUS, Excel, CoStar, and other relevant software to create financial models and conduct market analysis for distressed assets
  • Must have asset turnaround experience - financing, property management, renovations and overall successful track record leveraging a portfolio of assets
  • Strong financial acumen in key areas; Expense optimization, Refinancing, Setting rent rates, Tracking budgets, Leveraging assets, Understanding market comps, Data management, Financial reporting, CapEx and Development construction/operations knowledge
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including equity & credit Investments, legal, design, and construction
