Reporting to the SVP and account analytics lead, the VP of Analytics will play a key role in driving client analytics strategy and continuing to elevate the quality of insights derived from a robust measurement program.Responsibilities

  • Help create and implement the strategic measurement vision for our client, including analytics roadmaps, measurement frameworks, learning agendas, strategic and tactical plan recommendations, and cadence and formats of client deliverables drawing on deep understanding and media measurement, analytics, our client's business, and how analytics can best contribute to effective media planning.
  • Help evaluate and recommend measurement vendors and solutions to continuously drive innovation and operational excellence.
  • Elevate the insights derived from existing measurement solutions and media reporting and ensure that insights are actionable for media planning/buying and ladder up to overall client strategic objectives.
  • Manage the team in organizing and analyzing data to facilitate this insight generation and be accountable for the quality of reports and the insights generated.
  • Become a trusted advisor on media measurement to clients and internal teams.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesManage and mentor a sizable team of analytics professionals dedicated to the account from Director to Analyst level.Who You AreYou are an advocate for the role of data, analytics, and insights in media planning and buying and have a thorough understanding of the media measurement landscape. You welcome challenges and are solutions oriented.Preferred Skills & ExperienceRequired Qualifications
    • 10+ years of experience, including significant media agency experience.
    • Possesses foundational media expertise, including an advanced understanding of media strategy, budget setting, and channel selection across both traditional and digital media channels, including Linear TV, CTV, Digital, Programmatic, Social, Streaming Audio and Podcasting, and OOH.
    • Experience working on large advertisers with multiple lines of business and cross-channel campaigns. Understanding of the marketing and media strategies of brand advertisers and the media measurement approaches relevant to brand marketing.
    • Success leading and owning the overall analytics engagement or lines of business within the larger client engagement. Experience leading and partnering with key decision-making clients and demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with clients as well as with internal cross-functional teams.
    • Robust understanding of cross-channel analytics including mix modeling/econometric analysis, digital attribution, and digital/cross-media brand studies and the ability to derive appropriate insights from each. Solid understanding of survey design for media impact measurement. Knowledge of statistical significance and ability to ensure and communicate relative confidence and risk levels.
    • Strong analysis capabilities. Must be able to peel through layers of data, identify important findings, and deliver analysis and insight in a constructive and concise manner to both internal teams and external client constituents.
    • Experience with media measurement companies such as Nielsen, Kantar Millward Brown, Dynata, Upwave, DISQO, etc.
    • Prior management of teams of analytics professionals, including those at the Director level.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to create client-ready presentations with little senior guidance and the ability to explain complex concepts in a simple manner and inspire confidence when communicating with and presenting to clients.Additional helpful skills
      • Exposure to syndicated research sources/tools (Gfk, MRI, Simmons, Scarborough, IMS, Nielsen, comScore), data visualization tools such as Tableau, Datorama.
      • Understanding of typical proprietary agency planning tools.
