Summary : We are seeking a Technology Operations Manager / Project Manager focusing on Asset Management. This role will be responsible for managing and creating the process for Asset Management, organizing and tracking of Asset Management: laptop life cycle: refresh Laptops across organization, end of life, new laptops, etc.

Responsibilities : Must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment and not be hindered by ambiguity or multiple priorities.
Ability to manage end to end asset lifecycle.
Report on Asset Lifecycle
Create processes for an efficient asset management lifecycle.
Develop, maintain and make recommendations for an effective IT asset life cycle management program including policies, procedures, and processes.
Develop asset control processes, including quality control, to monitor and track physical location of all IT assets, perform inventory, research, database analysis, and reporting. Identify and implement opportunities to better govern IT Inventory and Asset Management processes through continuous service improvement.
Provide support to stakeholders within the Equipment Life Cycle Management processes through regular meetings, correspondences and communications.
S eek, recommend and implement process development and improvement initiatives.
Manage the process of repair or warranty exchange of endpoint devices, computer peripherals, and audio-visual equipment.
Manage and maintain databases and records of information such as licenses, service agreements, and warranties for assets.
Serve as the central point-of-contact to manage the life cycle of IT assets.
Work closely with the vendors to understand delivery timelines; receive and verify shipments.
Liaising with vendors, local IT support and equipment owners to book installation of equipment (in-line with customer processes).
Plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders.
Deliver timely, effective, easily understandable, concise project deliverables including detailed project work plans, presentations, budget reviews, cross-project dependencies, risks analyses and mitigation, strategies, stakeholder coordination and status communication.
Accountable for driving delivery of projects from start to finish.


Qualifications: BA/BS in business, computer science preferred or other technical field or appropriate work experience 10+ years of applicable experience in a technology environment, preferably for a large company.
Project Management skills in terms of reporting, tracking, communication.
Must have experience in managing, tracking and reporting assets; how many devices / laptops, how many ready to be shipped, how many for next year, how many to refresh, etc.
Must understand the process on how Asset Management works.
Ability to track and report how it is done, coordinate with third parties to set up the laptops, establish weekly calls with third parties to assess if efforts are on track and provide visibility to indicate the status.
T his position requires strong communication and project management skills.
Excellent organization and communication skills, as well as strong and consistent attention to detail.
Ability to effectively summarize status and communicate with senior leadership.
Results-oriented with initiative to work until job is complete.

Detailed oriented and strong communicator.
Results-oriented, high energy, self-motivated.
