Job OverviewAs BDB continues to grow rapidly in the US, we are
looking to add to our Business Development team.Are you an

entrepreneurial minded and results-oriented VP, Business
Development to join our Business Development Team to drive growth
for our US business. This role will be responsible for achieving
New Business targets, leading client & platform relationships,
evaluating and analyzing BDB New Business performance, and owning
proposals, pitches and RFP responses alongside the Global Business
Development Team. They will report directly to our SVP Head of
Development and the role will be based in New York.The ideal
candidate is a self-starter who is not afraid to take risks and
thinks outside the box to get things done. You must have a good
understanding of Advertising / Marketing and a genuine passion for

Agency.Responsibilities
- Report into SVP Head of Development in addition to regular
contact with the Account Management and Marketing & PR Teams, to
deliver on business objectives and driving cohesive growth & new
business strategies
- Key contributor to BDB's new business goals by creating and
cultivating new client relationships, and offering strategic
opportunities and recommendations for partnership
- Responsible for management and development of BDB's platform
partnerships with Meta, TikTok, Snap, Pinterest, YouTube including
regular standing update calls, completing platform requests and
growing new business opportunities
- Maintain BDB's Salesforce CRM data - including oversight of
leads from marketing initiatives, nurturing inbound leads, and
supporting data hygiene checks
- Lead all aspects of RFP responses, including best-in-class
proposals that provide strategic, creative, influencer and paid
media guidance, among BDB's other services, as well as completion
of BDB business background and information response forms, case
studies
- Consistently push and grow BDB's offerings and evolution,
including developing targeted short term and long term new business
strategies, to support client partners and seeking out new
opportunities
- Serve as liaison between client partners and our internal teams
(Creative, Strategy, Account Management, Finance, etc.)
- Maintain a high level of performance at all times
- Provide excellent client service and superior
communication
- Oversee individual new business performance, including
reporting on:
- Weekly reporting on partner relationships, opportunities, plans
and meetings
- Growth and Leads pipeline
- Monthly reporting on business targets and KPI'sSkills &
Attributes
- 8+ years of direct experience in a strategic level sales and/or
business development role
- Extensive contacts and knowledge in consumer spaces such as
CPG, fashion / beauty / lifestyle, technology, entertainment and
food & bev
- Experience navigating and working with procurement teams
- Confirmed and proven track record of producing results against
company-wide objectives and targets
- Extensive experience partnering with heads of marketing, social
media, communications, public relations, etc
- Familiarity with Sales CRM (SalesForce, etc)
- Experience in Creative and / or Social Agency environment
- Thrive in a fast-paced, creative, entrepreneurial
environment
- Self starter with excellent presentation skills
- Ability to understand our clients' unique needs, build trust,
and establish rapport
- Travel as necessary for clients meetings, industry events and
networking opportunities
- Understanding of marketing landscape, particularly on digital
