Job Description:

global need is in the field of the health professions, and Pace
alumni are poised to make essential contributions. At this critical
time, Pace seeks a Dean of the (CHP) whose leadership skills are
uniquely suited to guide the College's innovative growth, ensure
continued excellence, and contribute as a collaborative leader to
the University's leadership team. With 14,092 students on multiple
campuses located in New York City, Westchester County, and online,
Pace students begin their journeys with a personalized academic
program designed to help them realize their future goals. Small
class sizes and professors who are active in their industries help
shape Pace's innovative courses and prepare students for a
strategic combination of in-class and experiential learning. The
College of Health Professions offers nursing, physician assistant,
communication science disorders, nutrition, occupational therapy,
and health sciences programs. In the top 4% of schools for Nursing
and Health Science Majors, CHP graduates are also in the top 3% of
highest-paid health professions graduates. At the College of Health
Professions, students develop early clinical skills by working in
simulated clinical settings and shadowing experienced healthcare
professionals in a range of specialized roles. CHP is home to two
Centers for Excellence in Healthcare Simulation and has clinical
affiliations with leading hospital systems, urgent care, and other
healthcare facilities. The faculty is comprised of 72 full-time,
240 adjunct/clinical and didactic professors, and 53 full-time
staff, whose combined expertise in teaching, research, and
practicum guides its 792 undergraduate and 953 graduate/doctoral
students toward careers of consequence. Reporting directly to the
Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs, the Dean
of CHP serves as the College's chief academic officer, providing
strategic vision and leadership to the faculty and staff and
fostering a supportive environment that prepares students for
impactful careers in the health professions. The Dean leads the
development and delivery of high-quality and academically rigorous
programs and participates in ongoing assessment and accreditation
activities. They oversee the recruitment, development, and
evaluation of a distinguished faculty dedicated to excellence in
teaching, research, and service, and lead a talented team of staff
in delivering critical services to support student retention and
success. The Dean also works to build beneficial relationships with
industry partners, the business community, government agencies,
alumni, donors, and friends, to establish and enhance practical
learning and career opportunities for students, and to secure
funding for the College's initiatives. As an institution, Pace's

those of their families. The next Dean for the College of Health
Professions will provide leadership for its talented faculty and
staff so that students will continue to thrive in the rapidly
evolving health profession field. Candidates should, at a minimum,
possess an earned doctorate and a record of leadership in an
academic setting, or in lieu of a terminal degree, candidates may
have a demonstrated record of successful executive leadership and
comparable credentials and/or experience sufficient to warrant the
respect and confidence of the academic community. They should
possess the academic experiences and record of sustained
scholarship suitable for the appointment of full professor in the
