Primary Care Physicians Serving the Communities of the Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Queens Somos Medical PC is actively seeking Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Internal Medicine Physicians to join our expanding network of community-based practices across the Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Queens . This is a full-time outpatient opportunity where you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive, patient-centered care to diverse populations in New York City. Early detection of ailments, prevention, and general wellness of the patient. Assists patients to understand diagnostic tests, costs, risks, treatment options and their health benefits. Identify and refer patients to the appropriate specialist based on the nature of the illness. Works collaboratively with other staff to promote team-based care. Supports clinical operation and improvement activities. Actively engages in and leads practice innovation and improvement initiatives. Qualifications: Medical Degree from an Accredited University New York Medical License Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Current DEA certification BLS/PALS required Excellent communication, bedside manner, strong ethic, and organizational skills. Intermediate computer skills with experience with electronic health records. Multilingual is a plus. Compensation & Benefits: Competitive salary range.
