Outpatient Infusion, Blood Draw and Quick Treat Clinic -Exciting
Opportunity at MSK: Join our team as a Nurse Leader at our Commack
location. We're looking for a dynamic nursing professional eager to
showcase leadership skills and make a meaningful impact on our team
and in the lives of our patients and their families. This is a
freestanding outpatient facility, located in Commack, NY. This site
allows us to offer the most-advanced cancer care services closer to
home for patients residing in this area of Long Island. -Role
Overview:
-Empower and engage the workforce
while leading the delivery of exemplary Nursing Care in accordance
with the mission, vision, value and goals of MSK.Adhere to all
regulatory standards and promote patient safety.Collaborate with
physician and administrative colleagues to implement all
operational aspects of high quality patient care delivery, covering
our Commack, L.I. Infusion Suites, Blood Draw and Quick Treat
Clinic; Provide cross-coverage to the following areas: -
Medical, Radiation & Surgical
Oncology Office PracticeDermatology/Moh's Office PracticeRadiology
ServicesTelephone TriageSupportive CareSupervise Registered Nurses,
and nursing support staff, as well as management of Human Resource
issues, including hiring, transfers, terminations, corrective
action, on-boarding, training and development.Will play a pivotal
role in providing transformational leadership by building and
sustaining a healthy work environment that supports and promotes
excellence in patient care, clinical nursing practice and patient
safety. -Key Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing
-Related nursing certification requiredBLS for Healthcare Providers
requiredNYS Registered Nurse (RN) license and registrationA minimum
of 5 years recent, related clinical experience; ambulatory oncology
experience highly preferredProven leadership and superior
communication skills essentialCore Skills:
Outstanding communication and
self-awareness.Mentorship and coaching abilities to support nursing
staff development.Critical thinking and problem-solving to optimize
patient outcomes and operational efficiency.Adaptability and
resilience to lead change and innovation. Collaboration and
building trusting relationships.Understanding of financial
