Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be a vital part of our growing practice, contributing to the efficient and effective delivery of patient care. This role encompasses a range of clinical and administrative responsibilities, requiring a blend of medical knowledge, organizational skills, and a strong commitment to patient satisfaction. Our clinic excels in both primary care and cardiovascular disease. Comfort and knowledge of both is a plus, however the clinic is willing to teach cardiovascular disease diagnosis and management. Responsibilities: Coordination of Patient Evaluation and Screening Processes:

• Manage patient flow, ensuring efficient and timely completion of screenings and evaluations.
• Coordinate patient appointments and follow-ups.
• We have full-time medical assistants and front staff to assist. Documentation and Communication:
  • Write detailed and accurate clinic notes and letters to referring physicians.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Review and communicate laboratory and imaging results with patients and referring physicians. Patient Interaction and Education:
    • Review imaging reports and images with the attending physician and patients.
    • Review laboratory results, order appropriate tests, and communicate test results with patients and referring physicians.
    • Provide patient education and counseling on health management and treatment plans. Team Collaboration and Communication:
      • Establish and maintain effective communication with other team members and departments to ensure smooth workflow and continuity of care.
      • Work in conjunction with the attending physician boarded in internal medicine and cardiology. Clinic Business and Patient Process Flow:
        • Maintain a high level of accuracy in all clinic business and patient process flow functions, from initial intake to final collections for services provided.
        • Assist with administrative tasks as needed. Qualifications:
          • Nurse Practitioner (NP) Candidates: Valid NP license in the state of New York.
          • Physician Assistant (PA) Candidates: NCCPA Certification (PA-C) certification and New York State Licensure
          • Strong clinical skills, knowledge and experience.
          • A commitment to patient-centered care with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
          • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
          • Proficiency in basic computer skills and EHR systems.
          • Must be able to maintain a high level of accuracy.
          • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
          • Experience in cardiovascular disease is a plus.
          • Experience with medical billing and coding a plus. Compensation: $120,000 - $130,000 + bonus + medical, dental and vision
