Seeking experienced Physical Therapists to provide physical therapy to special needs children ages 2 years, 9 months to 5 years at the Joan Fenichel Therapeutic Nursery and ages 5 - 21 in our school-age program at the League School.Responsibilities and Duties, included but not limited to:* Evaluate and provide therapy services to children with intellectual and developmental disabilities* Keep up-to-date records* Conduct assessments as needed* Participate in team meetings and parent training* Administer services as per IEP mandates* Maintain proper documentation of evaluation, treatment sessions and progress of children* Screen and evaluate children to determine the need for services & make appropriate recommendations* Prepares and update IEPsPrincipal Qualifications:* Doctorate of Physical Therapy* 2- 3 years experience with children (pediatrics) with developmental disabilities preferred* NYS LicensedThe League Education and Treatment Center is a non-profit agency dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with psychiatric and developmental disabilities.
