Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced *Mammography Technologist ($76/hour!) *to join our healthcare team at one of *NYC's most prestigious hospital systems *at their locations in the NYC area. There are currently multiple *full-time/part-time flexible schedules available in Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, and the Bronx.*

While professional experience and qualifications are key for this role, make sure to check you have the preferable soft skills before applying if required.

*Mammography Technologist duties include:*
* *Perform mammograms*: Position patients, immobilize breasts, and operate the mammography unit to take images
* *Explain procedures*: Educate patients about mammograms and what to expect during the exam
* *Review images*: Evaluate the images to ensure they are satisfactory for diagnostic purposes
* *Use radiation safety*: Use protection devices and follow government regulations to ensure patient and staff safety

*Mammography Technologist Requirements:*
* ARRT (M) Certification or ARRT (R) with 2+ years mammography experience
* 2+ years of prior mammography experience required
