SpineSearch is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join a leading academic medical center's outpatient neurosurgery department based in Manhattan

*Requirements of the Nurse Practitioner:*
* New York Nurse Practitioner license and DEA
* Board Certified
* Neuro, spine or related experience required. Prior experience in any related specialty as an RN accepted too

*Responsibilities of the Nurse Practitioner:*
* Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests
* Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions/illnesses
* Prescribe medications and other treatments
* Manage patients' overall care
* Take patients' medical histories and record demographics
* Conduct physical examinations
* Complete invasive procedures
* Counsel patients on preventative care
* See patients in outpatient clinic setting
