*Licensed Mental Health Counselor / Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LMHC/, LCSW)* - *$80k-$90k* *annual salary*! Social Workers are needed for an FQHC organization in *Manhattan, NY.* Prior experience in mental health, substance abuse, LGBTQIA+, or HIV/AIDS population is highly preferred. This is a *full-time direct hire* opportunity. *Paid medical insurance and PTO offered*. High integrity and character are a must.

Our client is a well-established FQHC focused on the LGBTQIA+ and HIV/AIDS population and they are seeking a Licensed Clinical Therapist with experience in substance abuse treatment to provide high-quality therapeutic services for individuals struggling with addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders. The ideal candidate is compassionate, knowledgeable, and committed to fostering long-term recovery for clients.

*Responsibilities:*
* Conduct comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning for clients with substance use and mental health disorders.
* Provide individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, MI, and trauma-informed care.
* Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that align with clients' recovery goals.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, case managers, and peer support specialists.
* Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
* Provide crisis intervention and support when necessary.
* Educate clients and families on addiction, coping strategies, relapse prevention, and mental health concerns.
* Stay current with best practices in addiction treatment and behavioral health.

*Qualifications:*
* Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
* Active LCSW or LMHC in New York State.
* Must have experience working with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.
* Fluency in Spanish and/or and Asian language preferred.
