Job Description:

A hospital in New York City is seeking Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Anesthesiologists to join their collaborative and growing anesthesia department. About the Opportunity:

  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Assignment Length: Ongoing
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday (Start times may vary)
  • Hours: 8, 10, or 12-hour shiftsResponsibilities:
    • Perform anesthesia for a variety of procedures, including general, obstetric, neuro, orthopedic, plastic surgery, and light pediatric cases (ages 2+)
    • Provide guidance on anesthesia selection, dosage, and post-operative care
    • Work alongside CRNAs, medical students, and residents in a teaching-focused environment
    • Support off-site cases in MRI, IR, and endoscopy/bronchoscopy suites
    • Participate in 300-360 OR cases/month and less than 100 deliveries/month (labor epidural rate 80%)Qualifications
      • Active New York State Medical License (or eligibility)
      • Board Eligible or Board Certified in AnesthesiologyDesired Skills:
        • Experience in upper and lower extremity block placement
