Nutritionist I at New York-Presbyterian Queens Hospital is
responsible for providing inpatient nutrition care in a community
teaching hospital setting. This role requires expertise in
nutrition assessment, malnutrition identification, and strong
collaboration with healthcare teams. As a Registered Dietitian, the
individual will offer exceptional care and participate in ongoing
professional development and training. Role Overview: Sodexo is
seeking a - Registered Dietitian - for New York-Presbyterian Queens
Hospital to provide inpatient nutrition care. NYP-Queens is a
535-bed community teaching hospital and tertiary care facility in
the heart of - Queens, NY . What You'll Do:
- provide exceptional nutrition care to patients in med/surg
units;
- be well versed in the Nutrition Focused Physical Exam and
Malnutrition Identification;
- work every 5th weekend and rotating holidays providing
hospital-wide coverage;
- be knowledgeable of the Nutrition Care Process; and
- efficiently and effectively organize clinical nutrition and

. Qualifications & Requirements: Minimum Education Requirement:
Master's degree with completion of required coursework and
supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for
Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) - For those eligible
for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24: Bachelor's degree with
completion of required coursework and supervised practice as
dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition
and Dietetics (ACEND) - - Credentials Requirement: Meets
eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist
(RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will
become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or
facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of
hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In
some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is
