This role involves collaboration with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to enhance student communication skills and academic success.Key Responsibilities:
    • Evaluation & Diagnosis:
      • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders.
      • Collaborate with educators to determine the impact on academic performance.
      • Intervention & Treatment:
        • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's unique needs.
        • Provide one-on-one or group therapy sessions in classroom or resource settings.
        • Collaboration & Consultation:
          • Work closely with teachers, special educators, and support staff to integrate therapy goals with classroom activities.
          • Communicate progress and strategies to parents and guardians.
          • Documentation & Compliance:
            • Maintain accurate and timely records of evaluations, treatment plans, and progress reports.
            • Ensure compliance with district policies, state regulations, and federal guidelines (e.g., IDEA).Qualifications:
              • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
              • Current state licensure to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
              • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is preferred.
              • Experience working in a school environment is highly desirable.
