seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to provide
comprehensive evaluation and intervention services to students
across various grade levels. This role involves collaboration with
teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to enhance
student communication skills and academic success.Key
Responsibilities:
- Evaluation & Diagnosis:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language,
and communication disorders.
- Collaborate with educators to determine the impact on academic
performance.
- Intervention & Treatment:
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored
to each student's unique needs.
- Provide one-on-one or group therapy sessions in classroom or
resource settings.
- Collaboration & Consultation:
- Work closely with teachers, special educators, and support
staff to integrate therapy goals with classroom activities.
- Communicate progress and strategies to parents and
guardians.
- Documentation & Compliance:
- Maintain accurate and timely records of evaluations, treatment
plans, and progress reports.
- Ensure compliance with district policies, state regulations,
and federal guidelines (e.g., IDEA).Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited
program.
- Current state licensure to practice as a Speech-Language
Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology
(CCC-SLP) is preferred.
- Experience working in a school environment is highly
desirable.
