• Employment Type: Local ContractWCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Critical Care Nurse a for a 13-week contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Waterbury, CT. -
  -Job Function:
  
  • Night Shifts Available - 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
    
  • Prepare and administer prescribed medications orally, subcutaneously, or through an IV, and ensure accurate documentation.
    
    
  • Report adverse reactions to medications or treatments per policy.
    
    
  • Educate patients on surgical procedures and provide relevant information.
    
    
  • Record patients' medical information and vital signs accurately.
    
    
  • Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients and interpret electronic displays.

    Job Requirements:
    
    • 2 years of acute care experience in the relevant specialty.
      
    • Active State Nursing License (or willingness to obtain).
      
      
    • BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
      
      
    • Strong communication and customer service skills.
