  The RN position in the Emergency Department provides direct and indirect patient care, utilizing the nursing process, leading the nursing team, and contributing to staff and student education. -This role requires expertise in assessing and reassessing patients, developing and coordinating care plans, and communicating effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals. -Key Responsibilities:

  • Care Planning: Developing and coordinating patient care plans, involving patients and families, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals. -
    
  • Leadership and Education: Serving as a resource and consultant to other team members, contributing to staff education, and educating patients and their families. -
    
  • Safety and Compliance: Adhering to universal precautions, completing competency validation, and complying with occupational exposure policies. -
    
  • Communication and Coordination: Engaging in team discussions, utilizing computer systems, and communicating effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals. -
    
    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Education: -Must hold a current Pennsylvania nursing license. -
