Our courses use a variety of programming languages including block-based coding, JavaScript, Processing/p5.js, Python, and Java. In addition, the computer science teacher will assist with various extracurricular activities and programs such as Vex Robotics, Girls Who Code, Rocketry, Game Design Group, and Build a Ware. Additionally, we are looking for a candidate who intentionally uses their teaching practice to build and sustain an inclusive learning environment for all students. The candidate must meet the needs of students across a range of academic abilities and identities. Candidates with a background in teaching mathematics, science, robotics, and/or maker courses are preferred.
