and beyond.What You'll Do:
- Conduct basic data analysis to understand our customers' data
and business problems, using insights to influence product
strategy, build product features, and drive business outcomes.
Collaborate with AI and software engineering teams to understand
and implement technical requirements and capabilities.
- Leverage SQL skills and a strong STEM background to perform
data-oriented analysis, building dashboards to inform and support
decision-making processes.
- Translate user requirements into functional requirement
specifications for developers. Demonstrate strong leadership
skills, guiding cross-functional teams to achieve project
goals.
- Elicit, analyze, and validate business needs, collaborating
with project sponsors to determine project scope and vision.
- Gather and refine user requirements through workshops,
questionnaires, and other methods, ensuring alignment with business
objectives.
- Facilitate agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups,
sprint reviews, retrospectives) to maintain clear communication and
organization.
- Communicate changes, enhancements, and modifications of
business requirements to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and
understanding.
- Identify project stakeholders, establish user classes and
characteristics, and assist in enforcing project deadlines while
adapting to changing needs.What You Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science,
Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Product Owner, in a
technology-driven environment.
- Advanced technical skills or technical background with hands-on
experience in software development and web technologies.
- Proficient in SQL and experience with Business Intelligence
tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau).
- Strong analytical and project management skills, with the
ability to translate customer business needs into application and
operational requirements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the
ability to interact professionally with diverse groups, including
executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
- Experience with agile development methodologies such as Scrum
or Kanban.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks,
and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced
environment.The estimated base salary for this role in New York is
$150,000 per year. Final compensation will be determined based on
factors such as experience, skills, and qualifications.Roots
