Job Description
We are looking for a User Experience Designer with a passion for design and development of effective and engaging user experience especially for data visualization. The ideal candidate will welcome the challenge of working in a fast paced, demanding environment in the financial services domain that requires strong problem solving skills and will have an aptitude for team collaboration.
This candidate will need to provide analytical as well as creative ideas in designing a fresh UX approach for a complex data heavy application. She/he will have a thorough understanding of contemporary design paradigms especially related to interactive data visualization.
This individual will need to work closely with a multi-disciplinary team - end users, business sponsors, technical analysts and developers, in order to see a design effort to completion - from conceptualization through prototyping to finalization and will be responsible for producing wireframes and visual design comps.
 
Skills Required

• 
  

• Five or more years of user experience design for web applications especially in financial services domain and in data centric applications
• Significant experience and interest in data visualization
• Experience with data visualization libraries/tools like Highcharts, D3.js, etc.
• Strong working knowledge of standard design tools (Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign/etc.),
• Strong conceptualization ability, strong visual communication ability and drawing skills
• Additional preferred skills: Graphic Designer, HTML, JavaScript, Web Site Design
