.What will you be doing?Barclays Services Corp. seeks BIA US
Markets Technology, AVP in New York, NY (multiple positions
available):
- Support audit scoping and planning while identifying,
assessing, and documenting risks and controls.
- Completing documentation of audit scoping, risk & controls
matrix, control evaluation and observations.
- Evaluating the design and operating effectiveness of controls,
updating audit team with progress and observations, and performing
issues validations.
- Writing high quality audit observations and helping the audit
lead in writing the report and providing suggestions to management
for actions to address control issues identified.
- Assessing control environment rating of auditable entities
semi-annually, performing risk-based assessment, documenting
workpapers, as part of continuous monitoring activity.
- Following up and closure of audit issues identified in
audits.
- Identifying and implementing data analysis cases to support
audit/control work.Salary / RateMinimum/yr: $133K per
yearMaximum/yr: $144,500 per yearThe minimum and maximum
salary/rate information above include only base salary or base
hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or
benefits that may be available.This position is eligible for
incentives pursuant to Barclays Employee Referral Program.Purpose
of the roleTo support the development of audits aligned to the
bank's standards and objectives by working collaboratively with
colleagues, providing accurate information and recommendations, and
complying with policies and procedures.Accountabilities
- Audit development and delivery support, including financial
statements, accounting practices, operational processes, IT systems
and risk management.
- Identification of operational risks to support the delivery of
the Barclays Internal Audit (BIA) Audit Plan through risk
assessments.
- Assessment of internal control effectiveness and their
capability to identify and mitigate risk aligned to regulatory
requirements.
- Communication of key findings and recommendations to
stakeholders, including the Audit Owner, senior managers and
directors.
- Identification of regulatory news and industry
trends/developments to provide timely insight and recommendations
for best practice.Assistant Vice President Expectations

to support the resolution of escalated issues.

policies/procedures in support of the control and governance

- Take ownership for managing risk and strengthening controls in
relation to the work done.
- Perform work that is closely related to that of other areas,

to the achievement of the objectives of the organisation
sub-function.

business strategy.
