Genesis10 is seeking an Application Developer for our financial services client in New York, NY or Jersey City, NJ. This is hybrid 3 days a week onsite position and is a twelve-month contract to hire position.

Summary and Responsibilities:
Experienced developer to join the App Engine Core Engineering Team that is responsible for building, managing, and maintaining the PaaS services for our client's de facto on-prem and Cloud container platform.
Highly skilled and motivated System Engineer with expertise in Kubernetes to join our client's dynamic and innovative technology team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system engineering, with a focus on containerization and orchestration using Kubernetes.
This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Kubernetes clusters to support our mission-critical applications and services. Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters using best practices and industry standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with existing systems and infrastructure.
Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of Kubernetes clusters.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Kubernetes and containerized applications.
Implement and maintain security and compliance policies for Kubernetes clusters.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in Kubernetes and containerization technologies.

Required Skills: 3-5+ years of experience with Kubernetes clusters and infrastructure
Design/deployment
Troubleshooting
Kubernetes

Preferred Skills: Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
Red Hat OpenShift

Compensation: $75/hr - $80/hr W2 depending on experience
