BUSINESS ANALYST - WEBSITE & MOBILE APP DEVELOPMENT - REMOTE NYC

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst for a contract position focused on website and mobile app development. This is a 12+ month contract position that is primarily remote, but candidates must be based in the New York City area and available for occasional onsite work.

This role requires a deep understanding of Drupal CMS implementation and maintenance, as well as CRM campaign development. The Business Analyst will play a key role in gathering and documenting requirements, supporting product owners, and working closely with development teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.

What You'll Do
--- Gather, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements, process flows, and system design specifications.
--- Translate business needs into technical requirements and user stories for Agile sprints.
--- Assist product owners in defining and prioritizing product roadmaps, release planning, and backlog refinement.
--- Support critical user journeys, use cases, workflows, and business processes to align with product vision and goals.
--- Collaborate with UI/UX teams on wireframes, user flows, and visual design comps.
--- Work closely with technology teams to ensure clear communication of requirements and timely delivery of product releases.
--- Perform and oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validate test cases and scenarios.
--- Participate in sprint planning and Agile ceremonies to communicate requirements and assist in backlog grooming.
--- Create actionable insights from user research and testing to inform product development.
--- Support test events in integration and system test environments.

What You'll Bring
--- 10+ years of experience in business analysis, focusing on website and mobile app development.
--- Strong expertise in Drupal CMS implementation and maintenance.
--- Demonstrated experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, and system design.
--- Hands-on experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
--- Understanding of CRM campaign development.
--- Knowledge of software testing methodologies and ability to specify acceptance criteria.
--- Proven ability to create and maintain process flows for both business and systems.
--- Strong collaboration skills, with experience working across teams including UI/UX, product owners, and technology teams.
--- Prior experience in the lottery domain.
--- Experience working in highly regulated industries.
