Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Teradata Developer to join a dynamic data engineering team supporting critical enterprise data initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Teradata, with strong BTEQ and Unix scripting skills, to help deliver business-as-usual (BAU) and project-based work. This role focuses on developing and maintaining scalable data warehouse solutions that drive decision-making and analytics across the organization.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and support Teradata-based data warehouse solutions.
Develop and maintain complex BTEQ scripts for ETL processes.
Optimize Teradata performance through tuning and efficient data modeling.
Write Unix shell scripts for job automation and workflow enhancements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Support production deployments, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data integrity.

Required Qualifications:

10+ years of hands-on experience in Teradata development.
Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts, data sourcing, and provisioning.
Advanced skills in BTEQ scripting and performance tuning.
Proficiency in Unix/Linux shell scripting.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with scheduling tools such as Autosys.
Familiarity with Informatica or other ETL tools.
