We are recruiting for the following departments: Data Management and Central Monitoring. The position is for university students who will be entering their sophomore, junior, or senior year after the summer.We are seeking highly motivated candidates to join our Summer Intern Training Academy. The Academy is a premier training program focused on developing and inspiring talent considering a career in pharmaceutical research and development. You can gain hands-on experience and help advance our medicines in development at Janssen! Remote work options may be considered on a case-by-case basis and if approved by the Company.\rPrincipal Responsibilities:

  • Executes assigned activities for clinical trials within scope of responsibility for assignment.
  • Conducts activities in compliance with J&J and Data Management and Central Monitoring SOPs, processes and policies.
  • May support innovation or process improvement projects within the department, as directed.\r\rThe Data Management and Central Monitoring Interns may be assigned into one of the following rolesbased on business needs: Central Monitor or Data Manager.\rCentral Monitor Intern role-specific responsibilities:
    • \r
    • Supports Central Monitoring Managers and/or Central Monitoring Leaders in the set-up, execution, and/or close-out of Analytical Risk-Based Monitoring (ARBM) on clinical studies as outlined in the end-to-end process.
    • Activities may include the use of various systems and databases to analyze risks related to trial quality/performance, study participant safety, and compliance and the identification of trends and early warning signals.
    • Supports execution of ARBM strategies by study team members, helping to ensure appropriate actions are taken by the central or local team members to investigate, resolve, and document\rpotential risks and resolutions.\rData Manager Intern role-specific responsibilities:
      • \r
      • Supports the execution of trial level data management activities per applicable procedures, with direction from the Data Management Leader, Global Data Manager or Clinical Data manager.
      • May include scientific study data review and management of Clinical Data Manager, Study Responsible Scientist, and Study Responsible Physician related queries in EDC system and other clinical data review activities (e.g. Coding, SAE reconciliation).\r\rPrincipal Relationships:

        • Typically, primarily interacts with other roles within the Data Management and Central Monitoring Team\r\r
