Job Description:
A company is looking for a Workers Compensation Claims
Representative to assist hospitals and medical providers in
resolving accounts related to work-related injuries.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a queue of Workers' Compensation accounts and maintain
quality and productivity levels
Contact relevant parties to obtain injury and insurance
information, and submit hospital and physician bills for
payment
Handle appeals for denied claims and provide customer service to
clients regarding the Workers' Compensation process
Qualifications and Requirements
High School Diploma or GED; some college coursework preferred
1-5 years of related experience in medical billing, coding, claims
adjudication, insurance, or Workers' Compensation
Strong customer service background with a positive attitude
Proficient in data entry, word processing, and MS Office
applications
Ability to manage a large workload efficiently and accurately
