MSK is dedicated to training the next generation of scientists and clinicians, who go on to pursue---our mission---at MSK and around the globe.Job DescriptionRole Overview:We are seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our elite team taking care of inpatient Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, Neurology, and Neuro Acute Care patients. In this role, you'll lead the care for surgical and medical oncology patients, working hand-in-hand with a stellar healthcare team.Key Qualifications: Graduate from an accredited PA programNCCPA certification and BLS CertificationActive NYS license or be qualified for state licensure2 years of inpatient experience in Neurosurgery, Neurology, Medicine or Critical CareOncology, Neurosurgery, and/or Orthopedic Surgery experience strongly preferredORCurrent New York State (NYS) RN and NP licenses/registrationsMaster's degree in nursing, prescriptive privileges (or eligibility)Related National NP certification and BLS certification2 years of Inpatient experience in Neurosurgery, Neurology, Medicine or Critical CareOncology, Neurosurgery, and/or Orthopedic Surgery experience strongly preferredCore Skills: Adept at anticipating and balancing the needs of multiple stakeholdersSkilled in multitasking and caring for diverse patient populationsResourceful in securing and deploying resources effectively and efficientlyEffective communicatorRelatable and comfortable with diverse groups of peopleAdaptable in approach and demeanor to match shifting demands in real timeAdditional Information:Hours: This is a night position; 5:30pm-7:00am; with weekend and holiday rotation requiredLocation: 1275 York Ave NY, NYPay Range:144K-182KReporting to: Manager, APP#LI-POST #LI-ONSITEHelpful Links:MSK Compensation PhilosophyReview Our Greats Benefits OfferingsClosingMSK is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer committed to diversity and inclusion in all aspects of recruiting and employment.
