Data ScientistOur client, an established and growing food
manufacturer, is seeking a Data Scientist to join their team. The
ideal candidate will have a proven track record of turning complex
data into actionable insights, leading end-to-end data projects,
and leveraging advanced tools to drive decision-making. You will
collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and
optimize data-driven strategies that enhance operational efficiency

- Lead data-focused projects from inception through completion,
including data engineering, analysis, predictive modeling,
reporting, and visualization.
- Utilize Python for advanced data analysis, statistical
modeling, and machine learning to develop and optimize
solutions.
- Design and write efficient SQL queries and stored procedures to
extract and transform data for analytical purposes.
- Create comprehensive dashboards and data visualizations to
communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business
needs into data-driven solutions.Skill Set:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Analytics, Statistics, Data
Science, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a data analysis or data
science role.
- Strong knowledge of Python, especially in the areas of data
analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning
frameworks.
- Expertise in SQL, with advanced skills in writing efficient
queries and optimizing database performance.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word,
PowerPoint) for documentation and presentation of
findings.Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Apache Airflow for managing and scheduling
workflows.
- Familiarity with Docker for containerizing workflows and
maintaining project environments.
- Comfortable with command-line interaction in Unix/Linux
operating systems.
- Hands-on experience with Plotly Dash or Streamlit for
developing data applications and dashboards.
- Knowledge of Selenium for web scraping and automated data
collection is a plus.
