roleAs Associate Director of Strategic Partnerships, you'll need to
excel at strategic account management planning, think creatively,
and problem-solve. You should be emotionally intelligent, a natural
relationship builder, and have exceptional presentation, written,
and communication skills.With a brilliant team around you, your
efforts will be instrumental in helping Canvas8 inspire the world's
best brands, agencies, and organizations.This role will be pivotal
in driving the business's success in the US and offers a huge
opportunity for the right individual looking to accelerate their
professional growth.The day-to-dayBased in New York, this role
focuses on driving consultancy revenue and sales growth
through:
- Developing a priority list of potential key accounts with
senior management and the US team lead
- Building (and maintaining) an in-depth activation plan for each
account and conducting targeted outreach via email, LinkedIn,
events, and in-person travel
- Delivering KPIs focused on activity, connections, and outreach
within the first 1-6 months
- Turning outreach into active pitches through a deep
understanding of key accounts' organizational structures, business
objectives, and challenges
- Managing the sales process from contact to brief to pitch to
sale, working with the analyst team to design methodologies,
costing, and proposals
- Closing your all-important first wins
- Capitalizing on your success by developing new relationships
across markets and business units and becoming a strategic partner
to your customers
- Partnering with new business and Client Managers to uncover
opportunities from membership clientsAbout youYou're a highly
motivated, commercially curious self-starter who thrives on the
challenge of building your client portfolio from the ground up.
You're equally comfortable identifying and pursuing new business
opportunities and nurturing and strengthening existing client
relationships. You excel at understanding client needs, offering
strategic guidance, and delivering long-term value through tailored
solutions.Energetic and persistent, you see challenges as
opportunities and approach them with determination and resilience.
You'll have the willingness to develop a nuanced understanding of
research methodologies and be a natural relationship builder with a
proven track record of owning a significant client portfolio.You're
a confident networker and brilliant presenter - comfortable
pitching at board level. As a natural leader, you'll be able to
foster a collaborative environment that empowers junior team
members and drives the growth of our US business.
- 4+ years experience in a strategic senior sales role
- Proven track record of managing a complex sales process
end-to-end
- Ability to build relationships with both prospects and
clients
- Commercially astute and able to pick out the nuances of
clients' business challenges
- A lateral thinker with an eye for spotting commercial
opportunities
- Excellent presentation and written skills
- Proven experience in generating sales opportunities and
exceeding sales targets
- Curious, collaborative, and tenacious
- Adept at resolving challenges and being quick at finding smart
solutionsCompensation and Benefits
- The base salary range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000
depending on experience + uncapped commission ($144,000 - $170,000
OTE in year one and $180,000 - $200,000 OTE in year two)
- Hybrid working model (2 days at our Brooklyn office)
