Investment Professional - InfrastructureThis firm invests across social infrastructure, energy & environment, and transportation in the infrastructure space. They are looking for candidates with 2-3 years of investment banking experience who have a strong interest in the infrastructure investing space.You will be able to work across the full deal life cycle as part of a lean deal team with a flexible start date.ResponsibilitiesThis role involves three key areas of responsibility: business development, deals-specific work, and asset oversight.

• Business Development: The investment professional supports deal leaders in originating sector mapping. This includes participating in meetings with advisors to assist them in their own mapping efforts. By providing valuable insights and analysis, the investment professional contributes to the identification and evaluation of potential investment opportunities.
• Deals-Specific Work: The investment professional is responsible for building financial models, preparing investment committee papers, and leading certain advisor workstreams. These activities require strong analytical skills and the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information.
• Asset Oversight: The investment professional is typically assigned 1-2 investments to oversee. They play a crucial role in the quarterly reporting process for these investments, providing updates and analysis that contribute to the firm's overall reporting. Additionally, the investment professional attends board meetings and takes notes, actively participating in discussions and decision-making processes. Depending on the companies involved, they may also be involved in reviewing potential add-on acquisitions. Furthermore, the investment professional participates in governance analysis, providing insights and recommendations to the firm's management committee.Overall, this role offers a unique opportunity to engage in business development, deal analysis, and asset oversight within the context of a dynamic investment firm.
