fit for you!Who we're looking for:We are looking for an exceptional
Full Time Addiction Counselor to join our growing clinical team in
our facility located in Rego Park, Queens, NY! The Addiction
Counselor will be responsible for the direct treatment of an
assigned caseload of patients who are addicted to alcohol or any
other mind/mood altering substances. Please note, this position
will be fully in person and reports into the Executive Clinical
Director of the KPC team. This is a full time role, with a schedule
of Monday-Thursday 12-9pm. The compensation range is $26-30/hr.What
you'll be doing:
- Provide group counseling to an assigned caseload
- Provide individual counseling as needed
- Complete assessment and intake as scheduled
- Design and implement treatment plans
- Document all services provided
- Maintain contact with referral sources, including EAP's and
Criminal Justice referral sources
- Generate and send Referral Progress Reports
- Participate in weekly Case Conference meeting for treatment
review of patients
- Attend weekly supervision
- Participate in staff meetings
- Ensure that KPC's policies and procedures and federal
regulations regarding confidentiality of the patient and their
records are strictly adhered to
- Perform other duties as assigned including managed care reviews
and care coordinationWhat you'll need:
- Education & Qualifications:- CASAC, or higher; knowledge of
recovery a plus
- Competency Requirements:- Assessment & Referral- Treatment
Planning and Review- Group Counseling: IOP and clinic level-
Individual Counseling- Documentation- Crisis Intervention-
