The American Red Cross is currently seeking a Senior Corporate Regional Philanthropy Officer to support New York City and the surrounding communities.

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic major gifts officer to join our development team as a Senior Regional Philanthropy Officer. RPO will play a critical role in developing and implementing strategies to secure significant financial support for our organization.

Collaborate with the Director of Development and other team members to create comprehensive fundraising plans and materials.
Develop and implement strategies for donor acquisition and retention, including targeted campaigns and appeals.
Work closely with the marketing and communications team to create effective fundraising materials and campaigns.
Participate in disaster relief fundraising projects as appropriate.


Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
MS Office preferred and fundraising database systems (e.g., Raiser's Edge, Salesforce, PowerBI).
Travel: Frequent travel within New York City and the surrounding communities is required.

Significant fundraising experience with New York City corporations, Fortune 500 companies, and/or Fortune 1000 companies.
Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Proficiency in using fundraising databases and CRM systems.
