Customs Entry Processor

Global Customs Services, is a boutique style Customs Brokerage firm that also handles all aspect of Logistics.

We are looking for an energetic person with great customer service skills to join our expanding brokerage team in Springfield, NJ.

You will be in direct contact with customers, agents and our overseas offices, providing good customer service and ensuring the timely delivery of all goods.

Responsibilities and Duties:

All related work with filling various types of entries, such as, FDA, FISH AND WILDLIFE, TIB'S, BONDS, with all government agencies.

• Handle air, ocean & truck shipment;
  
• Classify customs entries;
  
• Review documents for accuracy on importer's name and address, delivery address, pieces and weight, entry type code, currency, terms of sale, location of goods, Customs classification, I.T. number and country of origin;
  
• Obtaining rate quotes from various inland carriers, arranging delivery with carriers;
  
• Billing and invoicing files to customers.
  Requirements:
  
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in Customs Brokerage;
    
  • Ability to work on fast-paced environment;
    
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize matters;
    
  • Ability to manage time efficiently;
    
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills;
    
  • Familiarity with Cargowise system a plus.
