* AT LEAST 5 YEARS SOLID EXPERIENCE IN REAL ESTATE PROPERTIES ABSTRACT READING AND TITLE CLEARANCE*Job Purpose:Reader/Clearance Officer: Perform title examination, proofing and generate title report; survey reading, alert attorneys of potential title issues and provide comprehensive clearance support to clients, attorneys and colleagues. Less experienced will also be considered for a junior position.Duties:

• Examine real estate properties abstract and municipal searches, read/proof-read for title report production.
• Type up and generate title report using computer software.
• Email title reports to clients and attorneys.
• Communicate with attorneys, government agencies and any relevant parties to clear title issues.
• Keep track and follow up on outstanding clearance matters.
• Read surveys and generate land descriptions.
• Work as a team and provide clearance support to clients and colleagues.
• Review closing files to ensure titles are clean and alert all parties of outstanding clearance matters.
• Review documents (deed, mortgage, POA, affidavits, clearance materials, etc.) to ensure their correctness, accuracy, recordable form and compliance for title clearance.
• Comply with regulatory requirements by adhering, and enforcing adherence, to the requirements.
• Attend and give training in the company internal training program.
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications.Skills/Qualifications:AT LEAST FIVE YEARS of solid experience in real estate properties Title Examination, Reading and Clearance, Documentation Skills, Well trained in Written and Verbal Communication, Customer Service, Confidentiality, Highly Self-Motivated and Independent while being a Team Player is a must. Must be Proficient in MS Office, Web Searches and Typing skills, Multilingual is a plus.
