Job Description:

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS NEEDED:

Knowledge of door lock/lockdown networks and basic installation
Knowledge of security camera networks and video management systems
Knowledge of communication between analog and digital systems
Knowledge of Integration with district network.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE (Nice to have):

Experience in Education, knowledge of campus safety protocols
Experience in Infrastructure Networking

JOB DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work with IT Technicians, security camera/door lock vendor, Facilities Manager, and maintainers
Work with phone systems vendor as it relates to emergency communications
Diagnose and coordinate the update/maintenance of hardware patches, connectivity, running and maintenance of door locks, lockdown systems, PA systems, cameras, and panic buttons.
Report to Director of Technology
