Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Business Analyst with 5+
years of experience to support key projects and business
initiatives. The Business Analyst will work closely with the
Project Manager, stakeholders, and end users to gather and document
business and functional requirements, validate business processes,
and ensure project outcomes align with business goals. The ideal
candidate excels at bridging the gap between business needs and
technology solutions and is highly proficient with tools such as MS
Visio or Lucidchart, MS Project, and Jira.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collaborate with the Project Manager to plan and coordinate
business analysis activities throughout the project lifecycle.
Independently engage stakeholders and users to elicit, analyze, and
document business, functional, and technical requirements.
Create clear and comprehensive artifacts including Business
Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirements Documents
(FRDs), user stories, use cases, and process flow diagrams.
Utilize MS Visio or Lucidchart to model and document current and
future state workflows and business processes.
Validate business processes and proposed solutions to ensure they
meet stakeholder needs and align with organizational
objectives.
Work with technical teams to ensure requirements are clearly
understood, feasible, and properly implemented.
Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and requirement
traceability using Jira or other Agile tools.
Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by creating test
scenarios, reviewing test results, and validating solution
functionality.
Support change management and training initiatives by preparing
documentation and assisting with communication strategies.
Facilitate workshops, interviews, and working sessions to refine
project scope and gather user feedback.
Maintain clear communication with stakeholders throughout the
lifecycle of the project, including risks, scope changes, and
timelines.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems,
or a related field.
5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in IT,
software development, or business transformation environments.
Proven ability to define, document, and manage business and
functional requirements.
Proficiency in MS Visio or Lucidchart for process modeling and
documentation.
Experience with MS Project and Jira for project coordination and
Agile tracking.
Strong knowledge of SDLC methodologies including Agile/Scrum and
Waterfall.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking
abilities.
Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently in a
fast-paced environment.
Must have Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP)
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
Experience in government or technology domains.
Familiarity with Data Analysis and basic SQL is a plus.
