Job Description:

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Downtown Manhattan. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the design, testing, and manufacturing of HVAC systems and PTAC units. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, production, and field technicians, troubleshooting issues and improving HVAC solutions for both commercial and residential clients. Key Responsibilities:

Design, test, and manufacture HVAC systems and PTAC units.
Collaborate with design, production, and field teams to ensure seamless integration of engineering solutions.
Manage relationships with manufacturers and oversee the manufacturing workflow.
Troubleshoot system issues and proactively implement solutions.
Conduct field visits to evaluate system performance and ensure installations meet quality standards.
Contribute to product development initiatives, focusing on efficiency, functionality, and sustainability.
Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and emerging standards.
Develop technical documentation, reports, and specifications.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and mentor junior engineers.

Qualifications:

At least 5 years of engineering experience, particularly in HVAC, PTAC systems, or a related mechanical engineering field.
Strong understanding of HVAC system design, operation, and troubleshooting.
Experience with manufacturing and working directly with 3rd party manufacturers.
Proficiency with engineering software (AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, or similar).
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
A proactive, self-motivated mindset with a strong desire to contribute to the team's success.
Familiarity with HVAC industry standards and regulations.
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
